Hereditary disease


The hereditary diseases are a group of genetic diseases characterized by passed from generation to generation, ie from parents to children, and the offspring that may or may not manifest at some point in their lives. The main are diabetes, hemophilia, hypertension, obesity and allergies.
Not to be confused with hereditary disease:
congenital disease: is the disease that is acquired at birth and manifests the same since. Can be produced by a disorder during embryonic development or during childbirth.
Genetic Disease: is that disease caused by alterations in the DNA, but which does not have that have acquired parent; thus occurs, for example, in most cancers (cancer).
