A blind person can regain vision implanted a tooth in the eye
Surgeons were able to restore sight to a blind man implanting a tooth in the patient's eyes. Basically they removed the tooth, glued a lens inside the tooth, and placed within a patient's eye. According to doctors, this technique can only be used when the person is a scratched cornea, not when the vision was lost by some other problem. And surgery requires that the patient's tooth is removed so that the chances of rejection are lower.
