Pediculosis Pubis

Infestation of the pubic area caused by an insect group of lice and whose only manifestation is causing intense itching. Why might also affect the contiguity of the region of the lower abdomen, anus and thighs. Eventually affect eyebrows and eyelashes (by self-inoculation). Lice males measure about 1 mm and the females, larger, 1.5 mm, and their eggs (nits), measuring about 2 millimeters. The pruritus (itching) is determined by parasitosis caused by insect saliva, released to suck the host's blood.

Local, with good results.

Prevention
Choice of (a) partner (a). Care hygiene.
Control
Fumigation mechanical and / or chemical to prevent spread. Wash clothes to wear, bed and bath with hot water or wash normal and pass the hot iron.
