Respiratory infection
Respiratory infection or lung infection, is a disease that can affect individuals of all ages but is most common in children, the elderly and immunocompromised. They can be of viral or bacterial origin such as tonsillitis, otitis, rhinopharyngitis, sinusitis, pneumonia and bronchiolitis.
In general, viruses are responsible for the common cold, and some types of pneumonia. The bacteria typically are responsible for respiratory infections and can cause severe pneumonia or sinusitis, and deserve specialized care.
Treatment
One. In the treatment of a respiratory infection, it is important to humidify the airway. It must do so by applying saline nose. To clear more easily, should put the saline with the baby's head slightly tilted.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), malnutrition, low birth weight, lack of breastfeeding and air pollution are some factors that increase the chances of a child developing respiratory infections.
