Cotard Delusion

This is a rare disorder in which the person believes to be dead, does not exist, be rotting or losing all the blood and vital organs. Rarely can include delusions of immortality.

It was named so because of Jules Cotard, French neurologist who first described the condition, calling it le délirie of négation, in a lecture in Paris in 1880.
