Arteriosclerosis and Atherosclerosis

Atherosclerosis is the progressive stiffening of the arteries. Atherosclerosis is the deposition of fat on artery walls. A very rigid arterial wall and deposit fat can become clogged. If this occurs in the heart, because infarction and brain, is called "stroke" or "stroke" (AVC). Walking, eating low fat, not smoking and not drinking alcohol, are great preventative measures.
