Chlamydia infection

Infectious disease of the male or female genitals. It is characterized by the presence (may not occur) secretion (runny) urethral scarce, and usually translucent morning. A urethral or vaginal burning can be the only manifestation. Rarely secretion may be purulent and abundant. If left untreated, can remain for years contaminating the genital tracts of patients. It is important to know that even one asymptomatic (carrier of the disease but no symptoms) can transmit it.

Oral antibiotic and local (in women)

Prevention
Condom. Hygiene postcoitus.
Control
Antibiotics cure the infection and allow Chlamydia usually avoid complications. Whenever a woman develops a pelvic inflammatory disease, Chlamydia or other cause, has a 20% risk of long term complications such as infertility or chronic pelvic pain.
