Trichomonas infection

Trichomoniasis Genital
Infectious disease of the genitourinary system of man and woman. Urethritis in men causes a generally mild manifestations (burning and / or itching and urethral secretions brancacenta, yellowish or greenish yellow) and it may be absent in some very intense and others.
It is a major cause of vaginitis, cervicitis and vulvovaginitis (infection of the cervix) adult woman may however present with little or no clinical manifestation. When present, it manifests in women as a vaginal discharge yellow or greyish-green, frothy and strong odor. It is also unusual irritation in the genital area and urinary symptoms that may mimic cystitis (painful urination and frequent urination).
Treatment
Chemotherapy. Treatment can be oral and local (in women).

Prevention
Condoms, simultaneous treatment of (a) partner (a).
Symptoms
The T. vaginalis infects primarily the squamous epithelium of the genital system. In women, the disease can begin with a frothy secretion of yellowish-green color and unpleasant odor from the vagina; typical discharge this, however, occurs in only about 20% of patients. [3] In the other, that secretion is only mild or absent. The vulva (the external female genitalia) can be irritated and sore, and you may also cause pain intercourse (dyspareunia event called the introitus), due to vaginitis. In severe cases, the vulva and the skin around it ignite as well as large and small lips. Other symptoms include pain during urination (dysuria) or an increased frequency of urination (pollakiuria), which resemble those of a lower urinary tract infection. On examination, the cervix presents an aspect of colpis macularis (described as strawberry or raspberry aspect). Abdominal pain may be indicative of higher urogenital tract infection. Cytologically metaplasia and dysplasia of cervical tissue can be induced by the parasite.
In chronic infections, the symptoms are mild and vaginal discharge, some intense; these forms are of great importance in the spread of the disease.
Men with trichomoniasis usually do not manifest symptoms (asymptomatic status), but can infect their sexual partners. Some have a discharge from the urethra, similar to pus and frothy, feel pain during urination (dysuria) and pollakiuria (acute state). These symptoms usually take place mainly in the morning. The urethra may experience mild irritation and sometimes moisture appears on the penis hole. It can also manifest as mild symptomatic and clinically indistinguishable from other causes of urethritis.
Dysuria, urethritis or contamination by opportunistic bacteria are common occurrence in both sexes.
