Infection Ureaplasma
Infectious disease of the genitals and urinary male or female. It is characterized by the presence (may not occur) secretion (runny) urethral scarce, and usually translucent morning. A urethral or vaginal burning can be the only manifestation. When left untreated, can remain for years contaminating the genital tracts of patients. It is important to know that even one asymptomatic (carrier of the disease but no symptoms) can transmit it.
Treatment
Oral antibiotic.
Prevention
Condoms, simultaneous treatment of (a) partner (a).
Complications and Prognosis
When an infection caused by Chlamydia trachomatis infection is not treated, the symptoms disappear within four weeks at approximately 60 to 70% of individuals.
However, a chlamydial infection can cause a variety of complications. It is unclear whether the Ureaplasma has some role in these complications.
When left untreated, Chlamydia infection in women often ascends to the fallopian tubes, where inflammation can cause pain and scarring can cause infertility and ectopic pregnancy.
These latter complications can occur without previous symptoms and cause considerable suffering and medical costs. In men, Chlamydia can cause epididymitis, which produces a painful swelling of the scrotum, unilateral or bilateral.
