Dengue


It is a very common disease transmitted by the mosquito Aedes aegypti. It has been considered an epidemic in the 80s and ends up growing a lot in the summer. It's easy contamination and can lead to death in the case of dengue hemorrhagic fever if not treated properly.

Dengue is a major public health problems in the world. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that up to 100 million people are infected annually. In Brazil, the Secretariat of Health Surveillance (SVS) had records of 93,463 cases between January and September 2004, against 329,844 in the same period last year. The state with the highest number of cases was Minas Gerais, with 19,225.
Prevention
As there is no vaccine, the best way is to remove the mosquito, which breeds in clean water and stop. To this, one should cover water tanks and pools, empty tires and not let water accumulate in plant pots
