Diseases Caused by Worms
The term worm is assigned to animals and thin elongated body, with its main representatives roundworms and flatworms them. These are animals that, besides the aforementioned characteristics, also have flat body, and those having cylindrical body and tapered ends. The representatives of the two phyla have bilateral symmetry and are triblásticos.
Although the majority of the representatives of these groups to be free-living, some species are parasites of humans and other animals, causing diseases.
