Hear the music of the heart
A study by the University of Maryland, USA, with 10 participants who had no apparent disease found that when they listened for 30 minutes to your favorite tunes occurred dilation of blood vessels. This gesture equates the reaction of a laugh by doing physical activities or when taking medications for blood. The institution's director of cardiology, Michael Miller, explains that there was a 26% increase in vessel diameter, while listening to a song you did not like there was a reduction of 6%. Thus, blood flows more easily, reducing the chances of blood clots that cause heart attacks and strokes, and reduce the risk of hardening of vessels, characteristic of atherosclerosis.
