Pulmonary

Lung disease is the name given to diseases that affect the lungs. They may have different origins:
• Lung parasitic - caused by a parasite.
• Lung fungal infections - caused by fungi.
• Pulmonary veno-occlusive disease - blockage of small and medium arteries of the lung by fibrous proliferation or thrombosis.
• Pulmonary hypertension - increased vascular resistance in the pulmonary circulation, usually caused by heart or lung disease.
