If a woman had her first child by cesarean delivery , may not be the next normal delivery .

It depends . For Dr. Guilherme Fernandes , this statement is correct and half incorrect half . " Often the mother is not the first vaginal delivery because it has no dilation required for this. After a cesarean , the uterus recovers but is left with a scar that can break the contractions of normal labor . This possibility is minimal , only 0.03 %, " he explains. Another factor that weighs in time for cesarean section in a second delivery is that most women are opting to become pregnant later. " The greater the age , the lower the intensity and the number of contractions ," says Dr. Fernandes .
