Attacks have a beginning, middle and
end. The beginning, called an aura, may show signs of the coming attack, such
as smells, sounds, flavors, light-headedness, dejá vu or ever vu (the opposite
of dejá-vu, the subject knows that he has already witnessed the situation or
visited the other times, but it feels like it's the first time). The means is
the attack itself, be it an attack of great evil or a simple partial attack.
The end of the attack is called the post-ictal phase and is the phase in which
the brain is recovering, which can take from a few seconds to hours and is
usually accompanied by disorientation and memory loss.
