The appropriate treatment for someone
with a tonic-clonic attack is not that you see it on TV (many people
pressurizing a person who is suffering an attack). What you should do: pay
attention to the duration of the attack, move the objects that the attacking
person can reach, and just block the path to prevent them from moving too far
(or fall into the water, or fall out of bed , etc). Put them aside after the
episode and don't put anything in your mouth. If it lasts more than five
minutes, call an ambulance.
