Ascariasis


The ascariasis is a worm parasitism caused by Ascaris lumbricoides, known as roundworm. Contamination occurs when a person eats food contaminated with worm eggs.
Upon entering the body, the egg hatches and the larva releases in the small intestine passes through the mucosa to reach the large intestine where it reaches maturity, with approximately 40 cm.
Treatment
There is treatment, which is done with the use of drugs and adopting measures of basic hygiene.
Prevention

Regarding prevention, drinking only treated water, wash fruits and vegetables before eating them, wash your hands often, do not defecate in inappropriate places, tooth others, are part of this list.
